personally i have always had a thing for Myrna Loy, she had that casual elegance in the thin man movies. Ingrid Bergman is always a good choice timeless beauty, same with claudia cardinale. Louise brooks was probably the sexiest, Barbara Stanwyck the slyest, Rita Hayworth, Cathrine Deneuve, Bridget Bardot are all ones that come to mind. Kate Beckinsale is a pretty beautiful classic looking woman, hate her movies but love her!
I think:
Vivien Leigh
Grace Kelly
Ingrid Bergman
Audrey Hepburn
Hedy Lamarr
Ava Gardner
Natalie Wood
Rita Hayworth
Modern:
Catherine Zeta Jones
Charlize Theron
Liv Tyler
Anna Karina
Emma Watson
I’m torn between Audrey Hepburn and Anne Ramsey
Rita Hayworth – without a doubt!
Closely followed by…
Grace Kelly
Natalie Wood
Gene Tierney
Ava Gardner
Joan Fontaine
Vivien Leigh
Barbara Hershey

Setsuko Hara. Se. Tsu. Ko. Ha. Ra.
…sorry mates, half drunk. It’s true, though.

Rebecca Hall
Ava Gardner has to be number one and Elizabeth Taylor in her prime number two
Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman, Faye Wong, Keira Knightly, Juliette Binoche, Audrey Hepburn (of course), Emily Blunt, Rachel McAdams, Rita Hayworth, Diane Keaton
In my eyes no other actress was as beautiful as Natalie Wood on the screen. Sure, there are an endless number of gorgeous females to have graced us in film, but Natalie had a truly unprecedented presence about her. Beautiful women in film should be separated from beauty in still photographs - I see a photgraph of Marilyn Monroe or Grace Kelly and I’m intrigued. I see Natalie Wood in Splendor in the Grass and I’m captivated and enthralled ;)

Tilda Swinton is fascinating (especially in “Caravaggio” or “Orlando”)
Louise Brooks has been mentioned by several people.
Franka Potente and Kate Winslet are both lovely.
I notice many people have mentioned some famous girlish beauties, may I recommend also Chulpan Khamatova (“Goodbye Lenin” and my fave “Tuvalu”)
But it is Li Gong’s fault that I’m bisexual. The loveliest woman alive.
To offer this:
Had the opportunity arisen for me to get near Natalie Wood, I suspect I would have done scandalous things to achieve that. Those Russian/Jewish cheekbones, lips and eyes, combined with that dusky vulnerability of hers made me a slave years ago.
For a healthier obsession, Rita Hayworth was the Golden Queen, and Ava Gardner was the Kick-Ass Queen who could level Frank Sinatra and still look fabulous when the police arrived.
Some other women who can stir a man’s blood. Here is a pic from days past, a gorgeous lady. Olga Baclanova:

And in the potentiallly “Dirty Old Man” department, may I offer Lina Leandersson from “Let the Right One In”; here I believe she is about 15, but 6-8 years from now, I think she can keep a fair number of men awake at night:

Bela Tarr has little in the way of publicity images, but increasingly, Erika Bok is his poster child (she was the kid in ‘SatanTango’, in ‘The Man From London’ and will be in ‘The Turin Horse’.
That somehow ancient look of hers, not pretty and not ugly, with history hanging on her features in a strange way, she should be included:
Princess Grace
I think I said Sophia Loren already, but I’m not sure, so I’ll say it again, Sophia Loren.
A 15-year-old? You broke the rules! Granted she looks like she’s about 20 in that pic. In another decade she’ll look much older than her age, which makes me rate her prospects lowly.
That Baclanova pic is nice. Talk about hypnotizing eyes. That’s the dictionary definition.
This thread is about beauty, not lust. Isn’t it? ; )
