Who Should Be In Next Expendables (No haters please)

Part 2 really did great with its cast.

I hear talk of Eastwood and Ford in part 3 (Cage and Snipes it seems are signed).

I like Harrison, Wesley and Clint. I find Cage to be a bit of a stretch.

I think Steven Seagal is a necessary addition

but who else?

so few action stars left.

I would like to see Jackie Chan, Vin Desiel and The Rock

more than all of those I would like see

and as the villian

He played Baretta after all

I wish James Garner was in fighting shape and they could dig up Charles Bronson

Maybe not…

I was thinking Val Kilmer…I like that guy…but these days he’s looking like a cross between Rourke and Pitt. With all of Rourke’s good looks. I’ve also heard he’s hell to work with.

I’ll stand behind that choice though.

Those are all good choices.

I would like to see Nicholson (tho not an action star).

or Billy Blanks but that’s just me probably

Shô Kosugi
Sonny Chiba
Jackie Chan
Jeff Speakman
Cynthia Rothrock
Billy Drago
Powers Boothe
Sam Elliot
Carl Weathers
Nick Nolte
Michael Biehn
Rowdy Roddy Piper

I’m emptying the Canon films back catalog for this one time…..and then some.

Great list Pierre

I would also add Sascha Mitchell and Eddie Murphy (he was Bev Hills Cop after all)

Murphy, Arnold, Sly and Willis (That was 80s box office)

Dennis Brian

God bless the 80s

even Robert Carradine was an action star

If you’re gonna add Rothrock you gotta add Richard Norton.

But it is a bit of an aging boys club, so I think no Rothrock and no Angelina or Milla.

Or Zoe Bell.

“…cross between Rourke and Pitt. "
God, he does. Hilarious.

Mark Dascasos, DMX or Anthony Sabato Junior could work in lesser roles.
Give a role to Seagal and his corset. Or to Lou Diamond Philips.

We can agree on one thing, there is no need for Kurt Thomas:

…I don’t know, double ninja kick is pretty good

I would like to see Tim Timerson and Linden Part 2 added a girl to the mix so perhaps not a complete boy’s club

Although I’ve yet to see either of the Expendable films, it sure could use some kick ass women.

Bridgette Nielson
Milla Jovovich
Jennifer Garner
Sigourney Weaver
Pam Grier
Lucy Liu

I’m surprised the Asylum isn’t already trying to put a STV version of this with guys like William Katt, Mario Van Peebles and Richard Greico, maybe Lorenzo Lamas for good measure.

The Dispensibles

Starring

Lozenzo Lamas
Richard Greico
Wiiliam Katt
Marc Singer
Mario Van Peebles

Honestly, and I mean this, Keanu Reeves.

The problem is he’d make a hilarious stoner/drunken master sort of trips around and causes those precise cause-and-effect sequences to blow just the right shit up in just the right way, and I don’t think they’d use him so cleverly. But even if they went for playing him straight, imagining him taking on a classic heavy would be entertaining in both a serious and an ironic way.

Chow Yun-Fat toting two desert eagles and Mel Gibson , whou would be more unstable and homicidal
than Dolph Lundgren in the movie. that would bring some serious mayhem for finale.

from dark horizons:

An all-female version of “The Expendables” is currently in the works at the 1984 Private Defense Contractors label says Variety.

Dutch Southern has come onboard to pen the estrogen-fuelled riff of the star-studded action franchise. Several prominent actresses affiliated with the action genre are already said to be in talks with the company.

Adi Shankar (“The Grey,” “Machine Gun Preacher”) will produce. Southern also penned “Hoof Harrington’s Greatest Hits” which made the 2010 Black List.
