Yup, it’s pronounced Nole, although since I moved to the U.S. two decades ago people often say No-elle like a girl’s name, I got tired of correcting, so either one works fine. I blame that blasted X-Mas song!

I hadn’t realized Anonymouse disapeared. He’s been on mubi for quite a long time. well..here before I arrived..which isn’t too long but long enough.

So, another exodus on Mubi, huh?
I’ve seen a few since the early days of theauteurs. Some people made it back, or returned with a different name, for one reason or another. That’s a norm with online forums, although Mubi is actually pretty lenient when it comes to moderation so maybe that’s why members who are a little sensitive found it difficult when they come under fire. This is the only film forum I’m involved with (not even have any social network account), so I got nowhere else I wanna go to so I just try and enjoy (and learn) whatever goes on in here.

BTW, compare Mubi to some gun-enthusiast forums I’ve seen- there are more negative politics here… just sayin’.
