Inside joke I guess… :/
Hello, New Yorker/Queens2010. Bad disguise.
Yeah! you can change zip codes but you can’t hide!!!
THIS IS THE AUTEURS BIIIIACH!!!
what are you even talking about
Who the heck is New York/Queens 2010 anyway
those soap bars were from deleted scenes
Okay, thank you, are they featured on any of the special edition DVD
no they were melted in a trash can in the alley outside fight club
Sleep: You do not talk about fight club.
The advertising firm Wieden+Kennedy proposed the pink bar of soap as the film’s main marketing image. Fox executives received it as a bad joke.
Here are some more memorable campaigns created by W+K:

rule number 2 i forgot
But the first rule of Friend Club is: tell all your friends about Friend Club!
The second rule is everyone wears the same t-shirt.
The one about being able to drink your own urine is my favorite.
The soap bar makes total sense in the context of their soap production, pink or otherwise…not sure what the problem is.
There was soap making in the movie (maybe not as detailed as in the book). But I do see the connection. So ya not sure what the problem is either.

For example, the main photo on this site for fight club has a picture of Brad holding a bar of soap with fight club engraved on it. These photos are purportedly meant to be from the films themselves, but I suppose not in this case. What’s the deal?
