He has awesome music, Ghost of love is exactly what i thought his films would look like in music.
This bullshit is much more useful and important than all James Cameron filmography.
Alan Rudolph has two ready to go, why not give him Lynch’s spot?
Anyone see new Jennifer Lynch film, after Helena and Hisss she is becoming my favorite Lynch
hope not. should have stopped after eraserhead
Some of his music is pretty good. Ghost of Love is a favorite. And for as much as I want him to make another movie, Inland Empire kicked so much ass that I feel like he’d have a hard time making a better finale than that. He really pushed his styles and themes to the breaking point with that one.
Agreed Scottie. As freaking weird-for-weird sake it is, I don’t think I have ever so feverishly kept thinking up semi-coherent meanings for a movie as I did watching Inland Empire.
Thanks for the link to the article. Love Lynch’s comment on comedy.
He confirmed he will be back with another film with Laura
Really? Where did you hear this?

Down the bottom – "The trend culminated when she was cast as the virginal girl next door in Lynch’s "Blue Velvet, " the first of her three collaborations with the director (a fourth project is “cooking,” according to Dern, but doesn’t yet have a script)."
It’s not nothing, but it’s pretty speculative.
My guess he will make one more film, probably released in 2016 or 2017.

He is too old to pull a Malick. If he is gonna make another movie, the time to do it is now. But hey, if he’s done I’m cool with that. He gave me some of my most unforgettable film watching experiences.
I’ve listened to his music. Not bad.
