Huh, Mark Pellington has directed only duds in his entire career. The cast is intriguing though. From the title I expected it to be some John Hughes-like film. Looks quite different.

What an over-the-top, self-indulgent, overtly visualized, familiar-yet-fresh piece of work! I LOVED IT, but feel I’m going to be depressed for a while now…
