I have subtitles for Black Girl but I don’t know how to get them to you – any suggestions?
I checked out Blue´s channels, but it hasn´t been uploaded yet. Hopefully he´s going to provide that film, I managed to see it once, but would also love to watch it again.
Rumplesink, in case that you can get your hands on an avi video file of “Black Girl” can I provide you with the necessary information you need in order to embed the subtitles.
And Paul provided many of the links displayed on here, so thanks to him again. He will include those which are still missing as soon as someone uploads them.

That´s kind of you, Ozufan. I already felt a bit exhausted spending three nights uploading my Indian selections.
I assumed that you have a link where to download the .srt file, Rumplesink. But since Ozufan has a subtitled video is this much easier than to embed the subtitles first.
Ozufan – thanks for supplying us a subtitled version of Black Girl. I started watching this without subtitles and was getting a bit confused, as my French is basically non-existent. I was waiting to see this with the English subs. It looks to be a great film, so much appreciated.
I know that the whole subtitle thing is a problem with these African films from French speaking parts of Africa, just like the problem with various Latin American films in Round 1. I realize it is difficult to impossible to sometimes get subtitles for these, but glad when they are available, if even just in a separate text file.
Marc – thanks for the links provided and for now downloading the films from India for us to see. I just hope I find the time to watch as many of these films as possible, as the voting deadline is definitely tight! I will checkout Paul’s profile for undated links, but lots is now on here thanks to both of you, and those helping out.
No it wasn’t a link Apursansar. I have the .srt file on my computer. It was from a private torrent site – so I couldn’t post a link. Obviously it doesn’t matter now, but I’m curious as to how I could have got the file to someone on this site.
Well, you could have uploaded the .srt file on rapidshare which would have taken people just a couple of seconds in order to download it.
I see you guys already provided the link to The Little Girl Who Sold the Sun which I uploaded last night. :) I will upload The Nightingale’s Prayer within the next 24 hours. Oh, and if someone could upload Black Girl with English subs, that would be helpful. I’m short on time with the holidays…
If you have a Netflix account, Nightingale’s Prayer is available. I’ve had the DVD for a while, still in print.

Myra, Are you sure? I couldn’t find part 2/6. The rest are definitely there though.
I also think it´s missing. Maybe there was a processing error which means that the part doesn´t appear on youtube although Ozufan uploaded it, he would then need to delete the second part in “My Videos” and upload it again.
i came across nightingale’s prayer on youtube, went out to walk the dogs and then couldn’t find it!
I think that Blue has only uploaded the first part of “Nightingale´s Prayer” so far which you can find on here . He´s certainly busy right now and will come back with the remaining parts.

It´s an incredibly powerful film, most likely my favorite from Egypt so far.
Oops, sorry guys — I wasn’t paying attention when I wrote that. Just assumed it was all there from the 6/6. Yes, no part 2 yet. :( I’m also guessing that it hasn’t been properly processed. :(
Sorry about part 2 everyone. I’m a novice at this. I can see part 2 and play it, but obviously no-one else can, so that is not much use to anyone.:( I am presently uploading it, so in about half an hour it should be available. Hopefully I won’t disappont you this time.

Thank you for uploading Black Girl, Ozufan. I’m still having some problems with the uploading, so you’re saving me a lot of grief. As for Nightingale’s Prayer, 4 of the 12 parts have been uploaded. The complete film will be uploaded, but it’s just taking a lot more time on my new internet service which still experiences periodic disconnection…
