Deadgirl (2008)
Suicide Girls Must Die!
Skipping, around, hoping something redeeming would appear, pure waste.
Rent
Someone mentioned Tim Burton’s Planet of the Apes, and that film crossed my mind. I liked the original, and I gave Burton the benefit of the doubt, figuring he had some creative reason for remaking the film. What I saw left me dumbfounded. Not only was it bad, but I just couldn’t understand why he remade the film or what he hoped to accomplish.
Men in Black II The first film wasn’t great, but I really enjoyed the chemistry between Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. This film had an even dumber plot, and whatever chemistry between Smith and Jones were no where to be found.
Gothicka was another that came to mind, but let me stop right there, and say that there are probably a lot worse films that I’m mentioning, but I just don’t see because of the premise or the trailers.
The sequels to the Matrix were bad and disappointing (maybe not worst I’ve seen, but bad nevertheless). Star Wars: Episode II was a mess. OK, I’ll stop.
Doom Generation
Kiss of Death (caruso version)
Even Cowgirls Get the Blues
Eyes Wide Shut
Visitor Q
Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle
and more

It could be that I’m just typing this in the heat of the moment… but I truly believe that tonight, I had just experienced the worse movie I’ve ever seen in my entire life. It’s called THE FOURTH KIND. I really don’t understand how films like this can get green lit? This is the first time that a movie has ever made me seriously consider running over to the fridge to get me some plump, juicy tomatoes and actually throwing them at the TV screen.
Inglorious Basterds
Garbage Pail Kids Movie
The Brothers Grimm
Spy Kids
Machete
Aliens Vs. Predators
Moulin Rouge
The Expendables
Batalla en El Cielo
Hostel(s)
Spiderman 3
Batman Forever
Batman & Robin
Pirates of The Caribbean 1,2,3,4,5,6…
The Crow: Wicked Prayer (all the sequels suck but this one holds a special place in my heart)
The Mask 2
Zapata
Completely random shitlist off the top of my head. Could go on and on…
Super Mario Brothers
Napoleon Dynamite
The Other Guys
Due Date
Where the Wild Things Are
(not in order but none are worth your time at all)
boy this worst films list is becoming a list of recommendations for me, much more than the best film lists (odd)
hahahaha
Looker
Looker! is that the one with the zap-gun-thinghy…?
The worst film i have recently seen is “Kaboom”
I will kill to see Kaboom
Have yet to hate a Araki film
I didnt care much for Splendor tho
The fact that there is an audience out there for the Hostels and Saws just about makes me despair.
For some inexplicable reason ( perhaps because I actually paid to see it ) of all the dross that I’ve seen, Kevin Costner’s Message in a Bottle really stands out. Horrible.
And can I just vent about Wolfgang Petersen’s terrible remake of The Poseidon Adventure? I’m still outraged to this day. Das Boot was brilliant, I liked The Perfect Storm, but this went a boat to far.
Oh and anything involving Meg Ryan.
“I’m Bout It”
Worst films I have seen would include;
Old Boy
Trainspotting
Life is Beautiful
Someone mentioned Eyes Wide Shut. I think it is a very good film indeed, and one of Kubrick’s best.
Dorcol-Menhetn springs to mind instantly
3. It’s All About Love
2. The Man From Earth
1. Lost In Space
Monster A Go-Go
So bad not even MST3K could make it watchable.
Did someone really just list OLDBOY?
Peter you obviously don’t know a good movie when it is in front of you…
Loved Oldboy and Visitor Q!
Deadgirl is definitely one of the worst films I’ve ever seen. What the hell was that supposed to be?
The Fountain.
@FRANCESCA PERRY CARBONI I don’t like Saw either but a few smart horror writers do so I’m guessing it isn’t completely devoid of merit. Personally, I can’t stand it’s bizarre pseudo Darwinism.
Pearl Harbor is a close contender but none of these can even touch the dried up filthy vomit inducing abortion that is THE WILD WORLD OF BATWOMAN! The only MST3K episode I just can’t pull myself to watch, that movie is the definition of shit, pure unadulterated shit!!!
Have you ever noticed that mediocrity in film is so much more offensive than an out-and-out failure? That’s why “The Fast and the Furious” is so much worse than “Plan 9 from Outer Space.” I think we as an audience can at least sense when someone REALLY tried to make something good and failed vs. someone who didn’t care.
THE BEACH!! Haha, no it was actually not that bad compared to Guillaume Canet and Marion Cotillard’s silliness in Love Me If You Dare…
diaster movie ……….. truley terrible
the blind side.
one of the first things that came to mind after watching it (on an airplane) was that, in fact, it was one of the worst movies i had ever seen.
i have tried and failed to understand how that movie received anything but universal derision- never mind TWO ACADEMY AWARD NOMINATIONS.
utter garbage with nothing entertaining let alone insightful or artful about it. truly offended that it was made.
Judicial Joe
Once again, Edwin proves he knows nothing about what makes going to the movies great.
Santa Claus Conquers the Martians: nuff said.
