The Science of Sleep… the emotions are so real and the experience is dream like. I also happen to think it’s his most original.

All of Gondry’s film, as least for me, are visual treats. The way he constructs his FX are creative and original, and while most CGI look like computer nightmares Gondry’s FX work looks simple (ever though I know it isn’t). More people should emulate his sense of visual style instead of loading up on these grand and overbearing FX schemes.

As far as my favorite…definitely “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,” because it was a perfect blend of script and director (Kaufman’s screenplay is my favorite of all his works, thought I haven’t seen “Synecdoche, New York” yet). The Science of Sleep was good as well, although in parts it seemed to implode upon itself a bit. I really enjoyed “Be Kind Rewind” as well…it might not have been as abstract as his other films but, from a pure entertainment perspective, it was fun. But “Eternal Sunshine” was my fave, and it’s actually one of my all-time faves as well.

Gondry belongs in that “overrated” thread. Eternal Sunshine is a great film; everything else is awful.

I loved Science of Sleep. One of my favourite short films by him is ‘One Day’ with David Cross.

The Science of Sleep. I love Eternal Sunshine too, but The Science of Sleep is the total Gondry Package. Eternal Sunshine is fantastic, in large part, and probably just as equal of a part, because of Kaufman. Yet, I watch Science of Sleep when I’m in the mood for Gondry, and Adaptation. when I’m in the mood for Kaufman (I think it’s pretty clear that that movie couldn’t be any more of a Kaufman film). And alas, I watch Eternal Sunshine, when I’m in the mood to watch Eternal Sunshine. If that makes any sense.

Eternal Sunshine… mainly because of Kauffman… you can definitely see Godard and Fellini influences in Gondry’s work,

It-s difficult for me, but I would say The science of sleep. I love it! It just goes out of the conventional, full o colors and imagination.

Eternal Sunshine without a doubt.

My favorite would be Junior Et Sa Voix D’Or. Because is his most honest work which inspires such a transcendental doorway into the auteurs inner concepts which later will resurface at his entire body of work…

But dont listen to me, I’m just a pretentious prick.

His short The Letter!
Ahh. The New Years party sequence is mind-blowing.

And if music videos count, The Chemical Brother’s “Let Forever Be”
