Fuck the guitar. Radiohead, by de-emphasizing the importance if this weak instrument and it’s penis-envious power-chord arrested fans has thankfully pointed the way back to a better kind of music for millions of fans.
No offense to Wes Montgomery, Grant Green or even Duane Allman or Jerry J. :)

Hahaha! I was drunk when I posted that, officer Matt!
This is as subjective a list as I could possibly do. There are 30 or 40 songs that Radiohead have done that I could confidently one of my favorite songs ever written so this is difficult. I just went with my gut:
Weird Fishes
How To Disappear Completely
The Tourist
Let Down
Planet Telex
Airbag
Everything In Its Right Place
Pyramid Song
All I Need
Lucky
Albums:
1. In Rainbows
2. OK Computer
3. The Bends
4. Kid A
5. Hail to the Thief
6. The King of Limbs
7. Pablo Honey
My favourite Radiohead albums are The King of Limbs and In Rainbows. That might make me sound like someone who’s never examined their back-catalogue, but I have in fact done so. I just like their electronic/beat-based music more. Thom Yorke’s beats are insane—check out the stuff Atoms for Peace are putting out right now for further proof.
I get why fans of, say, OK Computer might not like this new Radiohead direction. I think I’m the complete opposite though—I can’t stand Radiohead’s guitar-y songs. (I gave away my copy of Hail to the Thief, that’s how much I disliked it!) Then again, I listen to a lot of electronic/IDM stuff anyway, so I tend to appreciate solid beats over a catchy guitar riff.
So, for a list:
1. In Rainbows
2. The King of Limbs
3. Kid A
4. Amnesiac
5. onward: everything else.
Albums (in order):
1. OK Computer
2. The Bends
3. In Rainbows
4. Kid A
5. Hail to the Thief
6. Amnesiac
The King of Limbs and Pablo Honey are their only two albums I wouldn’t consider “good”.
Jerry Johnson
The only Radiohead song I like right now:
Because it’s the only time in the past five years any of those shitheads has picked up a guitar.
