The Naked Kiss bluray (nice gift from my girlfriend)

Last Year at Marienbad bluray

debating picking up the Pedro Costa trilogy…I can get it for $60 at deepdiscount. anyone else have it? is it worth picking up? I’ve really enjoyed the first two in the series, so I’m sure I’ll enjoy the third one as well. But part of me loathes to buy it on dvd. I don’t think I have a choice, though – I doubt Criterion would be rereleasing it on blu-ray anytime soon. It makes you wonder why the didn’t release it on blu-ray in the first place.

Bought The Red Shoes and The Fugitive Kind yesterday. I’ve never seen either film, but both seem, for one reason or another, like good investments.

I have a Late Ozu Eclipse set and a Blu-Ray copy of In the Realm of the Senses coming.

I also have a replacement case for The Man Who Fell to Earth within the same package.

The last Criterion I bought was Sans Soleil and I just gave it away as a gift to someone who I think would really appreciate it. I had never even opened it (I’d seen both films on the disc already).

So it’s also my favorite Criterion purchase for that reason.

The last Criterion I bought was at Christmas time aka Christ’s birthday which is ironic because the film was Antichrist.

I just realized that my pre order of Blow Out will be here next week. I totally forgot about that.

Recently I have obtained:
The 39 Steps: Ebay for $5.99

BBS Story Box Set on Blu Ray: %46 off and free shipping from Amazon…Thank you Criterion for letting me know via Facebook

Made in the USA and Eclipse set of Dusan Makavejev: 1/2 off at a closing Borders store

The Man Who Fell to Earth w/book: $32 on Amazon…not so great a deal, but I had my chance a few years back and just never pulled the trigger

Armageddon and Life of Brian: FREE because I ordered them as throw in items for a few bucks on a large order via Amazon and then they messed up the order and refunded my order for the whole amount without me having to send them back. Score for me I guess even though the other dvds I ordered were not at all in the condition described and pretty much trash

Red Shoes Blu ray: $19 via ebay

I just realized i’m a little addicted here, but at least it gives me something to do and I dont waste my money on something like cigarettes or weed

I am now thinking about getting the Spartacus DVD. After reading some recent reviews on the Universal Blu-ray – this is one of those rare cases of the DVD being better than the Blu-ray.
