I think I just misinterpreted the title of this topic. I thougt it’s about favorite film that concerning about sexual awakening. So it is about a film that made your semen came out of nowhere.

Beside the pornos, I recall that Kate Winslet nude scene in Titanic was my first experience. But I didn’t remember getting any boner. Too typical?

I’m not sure there are any films to which to attribute a ‘sexual awakening’. I had a series of mild crushes on scifi characters, but I didn’t really think of film characters in sexual terms until long after my ‘sexual awakening’.

No, but what’s even more funny is how I rediscovered that Batman Returns is actually good later on in cinephilia life. Before that I watched it only for Catwoman, and before that I watched it only for Batman doing batty fighty things with his bat fists. This movie has been a lot of different movies for me.

I think that for me it was Steven Shainberg’s Secretary. I watched it when I was like 13 and I remember I pretty much enjoyed the sex scenes, but I don’t recall if it was truly my first sexual awakening film.
Also Crash by David Cronenberg, I don’t know, there’s something terribly perverse and erotic in James Spader that makes me want to, well, you know.

As far as I can recall it was a film adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Snow Queen (not sure which version, might have been a film from the former GDR).
I had a tottal crush on the Snow Queen and hoped she would come and kidnap me… I think I was 4 at the time and have been a little masochistic pervert ever since.

I don’t know about film, but I think I speak for most of us when I say I didn’t know what a real sexual awakening was until about 6 months ago when I turned on the History Channel and was confronted with this:

First, I need to provide the caveat that I am a (much) younger contributer and admittedly somewhat of a late bloomer. My heterosexual awakener was Eva Green in Casino Royale, and my bisexual awakener was either Alain Delon in Rocco and His Brothers or Terence Stamp in Teorema (or maybe both, as I saw them within a period of about two weeks).

Wierdly enough I vaguely remember early “sensations” when I saw the opening credits of Secretary on the television while visiting Lyon. I also always had a rather strong attraction to Grace Kelly in Rear Window, Anthony Perkins in Psycho and any movie character with a British accent. I used to think I was a sexual deviant, but now I know I’m an equal opportunity sexual deviant.

I have a hunch that this movie polluted my sexual psyche in some fashion.

In the movie XXY the main character, who is an intersex person, (possible spoiler?) ends up having anal intercourse with one of the other characters. While the movie is not fetishizing people born that way it ended up arousing me anyway. (It doesn’t really matter that the character in question is 15 since I was the same age when I saw it, and in reality the actress was probably older than me.) I don’t think it’s a sexual awakening per se, it just made me realize different attractions I held.
Anyhow, it’s also a really good movie, I think.
