This film was surprisingly not so bad. The extent of the graphic horror violence was quite good for a mainstream film.
Just another film trying to self manufacture a cult status without any authenticity. This film is absolutely terrible.
Some of the best fight choreography in all martial arts cinema. I actually like this film somewhat more than The Five Venoms. Tragic that such choreography has been in decline since the days of Chang Cheh and The Venoms. Please add the film Shaolin Rescuers which has perhaps the best choreographed fight scene of all the 25 or so Venom films.
This could have easily been a five star film if it were 20 minutes in length and the wolves could fly. Since the film had neither of these attributes, I can only award this film one star. I would rather be shot in the face with a nuclear bomb than watch this film again.
Shaolin Rescuers and Crippled Avengers are two of the absolute best Venom films! Please include on MUBI!
Whenever I hear the phrase "Super Duper" I always think of Jean-Paul Belmondo and his self-performed stunts in Fear Over The City. The only film in the history of cinema to have glass eye point of view cinematography. Also, this film has one of my favorite performances by a grenade in recent memory. Cinema at its finest!
OGON BATTO!!!!!!! NOTHING CAN STOP THE BATON OF JUSTICE!!!!!!!! When is Criterion going to pick up the rights to this film for a Blu-Ray release? This film has inspired me to become a better person, a must watch!
WHOA, WAIT A MINUTE!!!! This film is described as being "a roller coaster ride of fun and hijinks?" Why I love both fun and hijinks! What a treat to have both in the same film. I also think that roller coasters are pretty neat as well. I simply have to see this!
The only film really similar to Hell Comes to Frogtown in cinematic stature, achievement and innovation is either Citizen Kane or Bicycle Thieves. This film serves as the gold standard by which other films will be judged for the existence of the medium.
Splice is amazingly ridiculous! Splice is both a one star and five star film all at the same time; no in-betweens. I have yet to read an accurate review of this film and I have no idea as to where to start. A must see cinematic anomaly, check it out!
Ravenous is such a criminally underrated horror film. I love the unique score and musical direction of this film. I hope that one country on this planet will release this on Blu-Ray as the american DVD transfer is sub-par.
The best slasher film since Black Christmas (1974). The sequel is currently being written with everyone from the first film (Director, Writers and Actors) signed up.
Tadanobu Asano as Hogun? Interesting. . . .
Citizen Kane step aside, 3 DEV ADAM IS A TRUE MASTERPIECE!!!
