I’m a filmmaker, just starting out. My ultimate goal is to have a multimedia career – film might be the heart of it, but I couldn’t imagine not doing other things.

Guess what? I got your postcards!!! Canada Post didn't fail me! Thanks so much! It was a lovely surprise to find some actual mail after our postal strike here. :) Have to dig up your address now from my inbox. :P Oh, and a huge congrats for first class honours! I've heard about how difficult they were in the UK I think? Will keep you posted in regard to my mailings. :)
Are we still postcarding it? (Sorry I forgot to follow up with you in regard to that.) Canada Post here is currently on strike... :(
Aiieee! Never mind, I'm sure it'll end up in your hands eventually! I'm not too bad, just finished uni (got first-class honours!) and gone straight into loads more projects. At the moment I'm art directing my friend's short film - last day of shooting today! Then it's straight back to Cornwall for a cinema screening of everyone's films. Kinda stressful, but fun stress. How have you been?
Hehehe, what a nice analogy! :) Which film project is this, if I may ask? ※ Nothing much on my end these days except for work, but I did find some time to watch some films last week. Have you seen anything by Robert Kramer? A few people recommended his films to me on here, but as of yet I've only seen Scenes from the Class Struggle in Portugal, which was great. Looking forward to exploring more of his filmography, hopefully soon. ※ Oh, and I'm getting back into watching some João César Monteiro -- most recently I loved Come and Go. Wasn't much of a fan of Manoel de Oliveira's A Talking Picture. Don't know if you've seen that one by him? ※ Sadly, I think that's it from my end... :( Have you already seen Lee Chang-dong's Poetry? It's one of my current favourites right now too. :) But now your turn! :P ※ P.S. Seeing you recently rate The Social Network reminds me that I still haven't seen it yet! I've been wanting to -- and saying I've been wanting to -- see it for so long!
Hey Mike, how are you doing? It's been a while, eh? Like the other times we seem to lose touch for a little bit and then find ourselves talking again. :) ※ I actually rather enjoyed Hahaha, although I can see how you wouldn't have enjoyed it as much. It was rather light-hearted, but I think he still did a wonderful job. There was also the Canada connection! :P No, but it was my first Hong after coming back from visiting Seoul, so a lot of things reminded me of sights I saw there. In that regard, it was a rather special Hong for me in particular. :) ※ I've 'had' Children of the Beehive for a while now, but I still haven't found the time to watch it yet. :( One day soon... And yes! I most definitely am very excited for the new Wang Bing, but I'm worried that I may not get a chance to see it anytime soon... :( How has everything been for you?
