Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

Not at all worth the vitriol many are spewing at it. I give props to any film that allows its child protagonist to be as frustrating as any real child would be. That the kid gives a great performance is just icing on the cake. Say what you will, but the film takes some big risks, and a lot of them pay off. And yeah: I teared up for long stretches.
