Lorna, i really like your appreciation of NB Ceylan cinema. Having watched all of his films so far, i think my favorite is Climates that you also mentioned about. ..and coming to the story of Mehmet Toprak.. yeah, that was indeed very sad. he died about two weeks before he was awarded with the Best Actor title in Cannes together with Muzaffer Ozdemir who also acts in Distant. keep in touch.
