Jim Jarmusch's Stranger Than Paradise is beatific and wry Absurdist comedy in long takes that drift coolly by. I used a free cinema ticket from a magazine to travel down to London and see it's re-release in the early '90's at the Odeon Swiss Centre - in a building that no longer exists.
