It sounds like _Lady Vengeance_ is more style than substance, which is too bad. I felt that _Oldboy_ had a higher style:substance ratio than _Sympathy_ (though I saw _Sympathy_ first, which may have colored my opinion), but was still interesting enough to overcome any contrivances. _I'm a Cyborg_ and _Thirst_ (the only other Park movies I've seen) seemed to be lacking something, however, so I don't know. To change subjects, I do hope you get to see _Every-Night Dreams_ which I bought and watched and enjoyed quite a bit.

What was wrong with _Lady Vengeance_? (I have not seen it, but being a fan of _Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance_, and of the opinion that _Oldboy_ was pretty good, I was looking forward to seeing it.)
