Best Concert Youv'e ever been to over 2 years ago

The best shows I have probably been to are Secret Chiefs 3, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Bjork but some other good ones were
Boredoms
Air
Belle & Sebastian
Nels Cline
The Creatures
Melvins
Mogwai
Muse
Big Business
(that’s just to name a handful of good ones)

Yeah Bjork is a really good performer. Siouxsie does her songs live almost identical to how you hear them recorded, but Bjork has new musical arrangements and sounds. it’s just amazing. And she’s so expressive!

are there or is there a book/music website in the same vein as the auteurs over 2 years ago

Lastfm.com is pretty good for music i guess…not sure if there is a forum to discuss things on, but you can add people and PM them. they also give you recommendations for local shows you can go to according to the music you listen to..

Vegetarians? about 2 years ago

Been vegetarian my entire life.

Has anyone ever smelled kangaroo meat?? Oh my…so rancid! They were serving it at a zoo I went to once, right after I pet and fed these cute baby kangaroos. :(

Vegetarians? about 2 years ago

Hahaha. Yes, I was appalled. I totally have a clinical phobia of animals but finally got up the nerve to pet them (koalas and kangaroos, in AU of course), fell in love with these cute baby marsupials, and then saw a man eating it next to me like 20 mins later! I mean if you’re going to eat an outback animal eat a dingo! they’re mean. (jk)

Simultaneous Watching & Analysis about 2 years ago

Brought to you by Apocalypse Salem and Natasha

We thought it would be beneficial for us to have the opportunity to discuss films of interest in a more organized manner. An idea is to have a forum similar to a book club in which we all agree to watch the same film by a given date and come back to discuss— in a mature manner ;)

1. Get film suggestions
2. If 3 or more people are interested, set a date by which to watch the movie
3. Come back for discussion

Anyone interested?
