About Me

I’ve been a tremendous fan of films, movies and television series as far back as I can remember. I grew up watching STAR WARS and RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK and just went from there. I highly enjoy collecting DVDs, Blu-Rays, and expanding on my CD collection. My favorite film of all time is COLLATERAL, directed by Michael Mann. Some other favorites of mine are SE7EN, THE MATRIX, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, and THE DEPARTED. It seems like when it comes to movies, I tend to favor action/suspense/thriller types. When I watch television, I gravitate towards comedy series. Love FAMILY GUY, SOUTH PARK, THE OFFICE, and THE KING OF QUEENS. ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT was another great series, which ended too shortly. On average, I try to watch at least a few movies or discs per week. But, that’s my thing is to kick back, relax and watch the good stuff!

Yet another Tony Scott suspense/thriller that doesn't disappoint!! I was glued to this movie from the very beginning. Based on a true story and top-notch performances by Denzel and STAR TREK's Chris Pine. Action fans won't wanna miss this great film!

Adam Sandler essentially makes two types of films. Comedy and drama. Arguably, his funniest movie that I enjoyed was THE WEDDING SINGER. It was humorous, entertaining, as well as a fun blast from the past. Sandler's best dramatic role, which those are few and far between, would be PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE by Paul Thomas Anderson. FUNNY PEOPLE is definitely in the running, but I think that P-DL had heart and was more entertaining. Lately, however, Adam's work has become somewhat mundane and repetitive. GROWN UPS and the new one with Jennifer Aniston you see advertised on tv all the time...they just look like tired rehashes of previous films he's already made. I like Adam Sandler films, at least I really want to like them, but my feeling is that he needs to attempt and experiment with some new directions and different types of films.

currently watching RED DRAGON on FX, with commercials. Probably that and X-MEN: THE LAST STAND are two of Brett Ratner's better films he's directed. Better than those RUSH HOUR films, anyways.
