Its interesting to see how well this film holds up decades later. Even if certain things feel more upstaged to be memorable moments rather than genuinely great, its still a heck of a lot of fun. You can see Ricardo Montalban became a stronger actor over the 15 years and that quality holds most of the film, aside from some nice plot devices like the genesis device, and fuzzy themes of friendship.
