I'm most happy that you fancy "Save The Tiger". I love that scene where Harry Stoner (Lemmon) just stands alone and talks to himself, waxing nostalgic about his baseball memories. Also, when he has that terrible war flashback, not to mention the heartbreaking finale. That final line, Harry's reaction--superb. One problem with Hollywood these days: not enough "Everyman" types. Jack Lemmon was from a different time--I really must see more of his work.
*ExitBxC*: "Jack Lemmon is my favorite film actor for one major reason: he never, in his long career, ever played a cop." *Roscoe*: "Just FYI -- Jack Lemmon plays a police officer in IRMA LA DOUCE". *ExitBxC*: "Sorry my friend - Ex-cop. (for the full purpose of the role) But my point & your point should be well taken."
