A Dangerous Method

The maker of Videodrome and Spider tackles the meeting of the founders of psychoanalysis and THIS is the result? I don't understand why this book adaptation was even made. It's all so uncinematic and silly. Just think of the "catalytic exteriorisation" scene. Ironicly Freud didn't care for movies and both him and Jung hated the idea that their ideas would be simplified and banalized for the masses. Thanks David.
