Thanks for the follow, Cookies. I was happy to see Holiday among your five-star films. It is the one that made clear to me why I like George Cukor so much. He does not look down on his characters and rarely has villains. In Holiday, almost any other director would have made the sister and the father "heavies", but not George. Though we may not agree with them they are human and , as in Renoir, they have their reasons. And the two stars are at their best. What have you seen lately? Anything you like? Stay well. Bob
