I have been addicted to cinema for a long time. I have an MPAA tattoo on my back. “A Clockwork Orange” remains my favorite and changed my perspective on film forever. I am lucky to work at a great independent theatre in Greensboro where I run a Criterion Tuesdays series. My favorite genres include: horror, french new wave, revenge, cult, and art house; but I am open to anything.

A stark portrayal of the connection films make between people, and how personally these connections affect people. I was very surprised at the documentary-style-bluntness of this film, but it works. I thoroughly enjoyed the realness of this film, especially since the characters all play themselves. While not aesthetically stimulating, "Close-Up" will stimulate your mind and make you reflect on your cinematic emotionsFavorite Films
