Your review of The Limits of Control makes me so happy. It's probably my favorite Jarmusch film, and certainly one of my favorite films of the decade, period. I'm not exactly surprised that it has so few admirers (I can count the number of people I've heard declare their love for it on one hand), but it's really a shame. Your point that the line about two people sitting together, talking about nothing, reveals how unpretentious Jarmusch is being in what's been decried his most pretentious film is so astute.
