About Me

Born in 1952 I wrote a lot since I was 16 (and as a child I invented stories).
Having learnt web design/ web programming in 2001 (and years before by myself) I began creating computer designed sounds in 2003 and my artist ego Wilda WahnWitz was born.
I am a video performer and video artist since 2004. From 2004 till 2010 I worked with late Christine Grüter from Emden, Germany as video art and video performing duo under the name of MultiMediaGuerrilla.
Besides working that way in a more psychodelic and dadaistic way and often on social critical themes I refer on events and found footage and work with other artists whereever it fits.
2006 2. prize Anders leben at the Video der Generationen, Nürnberg, Germany together with Christine Grüter for Die Schau mit dem/ The Show with the Blubb and spontaneous performing the All Generations Spontan Union with other film makers on this Bundesfestival video in Nürnberg to which the Video der Generationen contest is part of.
2007 All Generations Spontan Union as installation during the Bundesfestival Video/ Video der Generationen in Ludwigsburg, Germany to promote my essay on this spontaneous performance event in a booklet for generations overlapping video projects done by the coodinator of this festival and contest, KJF, Remscheid, Germany
2007 part of the Irrland Exhibition in statt-museum, Düsseldorf, Germany
2008 nominated for Video der Generationen, Ludwigsburg, Germany with Getting older by play/ Spielend älter werden.
2009 Getting older by play on festivals like IKFF, Hamburg, Dresdener Filmtage, Dresden and Filmwinter, Stuttgart, all in Germany. At Filmwinter Stuttgart performing in Blato, done by Milos Tomic from Belgrad, Serbia for klopka za pionira, a serbian noise rock band
2009 the All Generations Spontan Union performs again spontaneously in Ludwigsburg, Germany on the Bundesfest Video/ Video der Generationen
2009 In bad Constitution/ In schlechter Verfassung nominated for LAW -Liebe Arbeit Wissen/ Love Work Knowledge, a competition of Bayrischer Rundfunk, Germany together with Christine Grüter
2009 and 2010 PottSau & WahnWitz with their 55 minutes presentation of early works of their cooperation as MultiMediaGuerrilla from 2004 and 2005 are shown in cinemas in Munich and Cologne, Germany as part of the festival Der gescheiterte Film for the sake of good films but unsuitable to most contest and festivals.
Autumn 2009 till spring 2010 teamworking in a video interview project for the exhibition Mülheim entdeckt/ discovers seine/its NS-Geschichte/NS.history in cooperation with the NSDokumentationszentrum der Stadt Köln/ of City Cologne.
2010 VideoDocumentation of ChamDances during the exhibition Bhutan – Sacred Art/ Heilige Kunst from the/ aus dem Himalaya of the Museum für Ostasiatische Kunst/ Museum for East Asian Art, Cologne, Germany.

2010 and 2011 part of Exhibitions with 68elf-forum junger Kunst in Cologne, Germany
2010 and 2011 MultiMediaGuerrilla is shown again in cinemas in Munich, Cologne and Hamburg, Germany as part of the festival Der gescheiterte Film with their film Alien Tourists
2011 spontaneous action with Barbara Karsch-Chaieb done to take part at the SUGAR exhibition of the Stuttgarter Kunstverein, Stuttgart, Germany during my residency at the Filmwinter Stuttgart, Germany where I was showing my film In bad constitution
2011 two weeks residency in the Winnipeg film group, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in cooperation with the Koelner Filmhaus, Cologne, Germany with new shootings, planned and spontaneous, a workshop on Viral Arts with power blubbing and other methods and of course a screening and artist talk in the Cinematheque of the Winnipeg Film Group
2011 nominated for Video der Generationen, Gera, Germany with Alien Tourists together with late Christine Grüter and shown with Spielend älter werden in Cusco, Peru at the FENACO 2011 in Museo Inka and in online competion in the ShortsNonStop contest of the Canadian Film Centre. Improfiction project with Cinemabstruso Team Leipzig after showing Frau Dr. pcmad informs about computer madness.
2012 Spielend älter werden shown at Mudfest, Mudgee, New South Wales, Australia, Heinz Diekmanns Kitchen beings in a Dialogue exhibition with 68elf, Cologne, Germany, nominated with another film for a forthcoming Kafka exhibition of 68elf, being part of an omnibus film project about Kiosks done by Filmhaus Cologne and with footage of 2011/11711 chosen for One Day On Earth 2011. And there are some other festivals too.
