I thought Branagh was at his best here. All the actors are quite good. My only disappointment was that we don't see more of Jack Cardiff. One of the great pleasures was seeing Michelle Williams' character in public instantaneously "becoming Marilyn Monroe". Let me know what you think about this one, Owen.
Surprised the hell out of me, Owen. I just wanted to see Michelle Williams who has been top drawer in everything I have seen her in. Movies about real movie stars are usually execrable. The only other one I like is The Cat's Meow with Kirsten Dunst as Marion Davies. As I always say, don't underestimate the cute blonde!
