@strawdawg – “Looks to me like the US tells Switzerland to jump and the Swiss say “How high?”.”
Nah, the Swiss just suck and like to hand over people, The Bergier Report states that Between 25.000 to 30.000 refugees had been refused access to Switzerland and send back to Nazi controlled regions during WWII. The real moral here is… stay away from Switzerland if you are Jewish. :(
@Blue K
I don’t make any excuses for what Polanski did, but I also don’t think I’m in the position to judge or condemn him. I don’t know him as a person but I admire him as a director and I do feel sorry for him despite what happened, he has been through enough in his life.
-I liked the remake of The Birdcage more than the original.
-I never saw any of the Indiana Jones Films. (and I’m not really interested)
-I hate most of Charlie Chaplin’s early shorts.
-I have a soft spot for Dirty Dancing.
-I like Showgirls.
-The Seventh Seal is my least favourite film by Bergman.
-I can’t stand Cat Steven’s song in Harold and Maude.
-I hate Schindler’s List
-I have not seen anything by Hayao Miyazaki (but I will get to it)
I’m pretty sure sooner or later most films will end up on here, sort of like a second IMDb (that is if the people running this page don’t get bored before or decide to only list new films and Criterion releases)

3. Juno – Pork Swords?
4. House of Games – Lindsay Crouse has to be killed.

6. The Butcher Boy – Most annoying Narration/Voice Overs Ever.
7. Psycho (1998) – What a bad joke this was.
8. Bleeders a.k.a. Hemoglobin – Rutger Hauer must have been in serious financial trouble.
9. Oasis of the Zombies – Sorry Franco, but this was just awful.
10. Faces of Death – Dunno if this should even be on here since It barely qualifies as a film.
(Dis)honorable mentions: Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS, Zodiac Killer, Epic Movie, Death Proof
Kenneth Anger (I really can’t explain how they could forget him)

I second Abel Ferrara’s The Addiction, The Tenant (1976) and Repulsion (1965) are also both fantastic.
Also check out Zulawski’s Possession (1981) and Cronenberg’s Spider (2002) if you don’t know them already.

Which director's movies do you re-see most often? over 2 years ago
I watch most films at least twice and re-watch favorites often.
Directors with most watchability for me would be John Waters – I usually go for one of his films if I’m not sure what to watch.
