He was also a blind swordfighter, a bohemian who "fucked better than god", a Cardinal, a soldier, a crazy scientist, a rapist, a vampire, a king, a terrorist and a knight with a curse that turned him into a wolf... what a career! Love that guy!

They should have hired Jess Franco or Walerian Borowczyk to direct this...

Loved it! Truly Creepy and featuring one terrific score.

I agree with Cedric, this picture should be better known. Truly a masterpiece and for me Jules Dassin's best film.
