not really. if he took anything from it at all it was the fight scene around the end. and even then it's far from stealing. also disagree it's suzuki's best. great movie, but he has several that are better.
http://db.tt/snnhV5P if you want to see michael keaton answering a very important question i asked him friday at the aero follow this link his response was more than satisfactory.
this was a spectacular film and if you are any where near LA you have to get down to the silent movie theater and watch it for this weeks run if you dont you must be some sort of clown
Everyone in LA should be heading to the aero theater for michael keaton in person for a double bill of beetlejuice and multiplicity. May 13th will bring tears to my eyes.
painful 27 minutes, afterward it is super duper
it was shown at the silent movie theater on fairfax with the clubfoot orchestra live it was fantastic
truffaut wrote the basic story and godard made it his own the but the skeleton was truffaut
one of the least logical weakest korean films i have ever seen. either try to be seven or try to be ichi the killer, dont try to be this nonsense
i used to have to sandblast transmission parts one day i showed up to work in a beret and coughed black shit out of my throat all night ...grand
jean luc godard is like the beatles francois truffaut is like the beach boys i love them both more than any one else except for howard hawks eric rohmer and jean renoir
nobody has the time to be vulnerable to eachother
the best example of a dissection of marriage and the intimacy of extramarital engagement seymour cassel and gena rowlands incredible
this film is a great example of how shallow and pointless "message" documentaries of today have become, The Cove was useless, Three Cheers For The Whale is poetic and moving without being dramatic and overblown
an formidable film eric rohmer the most thoughtful director to come out of the nouvelle vague
i continuously question who is superior Godard or Truffaut. Godard is artier perhaps, but Truffaut continued in a much more memorable way, much more like Renoir. There is Le Mepris and La Nuit Americaine. No Winner.
this was terrible just read bukowski no reason to watch this garbage not funny not clever just stupid inaccurate retelling of the great novel
wheres johnny stecchino that is an excellent movie
lame aside from rollins soundtrack and a wonderful scene with denholm"marcus brody"elliot as the creepy abortionist.
guy holden dude
Simplicity is why Rene Clair was a master and genius his late twenties early thirties work is the best representation of of real french cinema along with early renoir. If you dont like it you dont understand cinemas role in art and entertainment.
a boring as hell masterpiece
everything in life is curable except death
A great actor a list of classics 1. beetlejuice 2.multiplicity 3.mr. mom 4.batman best quote ever "I stopped down to pick up my dinner like I always do. She offered to, uh, you know, nuke my corndog. What am I gonna say? No?"
excellent in le jour se leve, hot too
tattooed life is the best quentin stole alot from it big suprise
Most eloquent in three languages always just as affecting.
I only liked one Clark Gable movie that did not have Jean Harlow. She is everything that painted on eyebrows is supposed to be.
WHERE IS BODY HAMMER THE BEST TETSUO FILM?
the masseurs and a woman is a beautiful film. lovable character portraits all around.
One Critical movie is missing Multiplicity michael keaton though is clearly the auteur.
WRONGLY MALIGNED POETIC REALIST
