Defies description this – is great on so many levels that I can’t even start explaining why – would need pages and pages for a review to do this film justice. But I will say one thing – if anyone has a special interest in film sound – this is an utter MUST SEE. Heck, everyone should see it.

A rare film - challenges the myth that love conquers all. Here love is presented like a delicate flora that requires the right conditions to grow and blossom; and this species will not just wither and die when those conditions are denied, but will transform into something cruel, exacting, even cannibalistic.

The Mirror is the single most beautiful piece of cinema I have ever seen. I never would have believed I could be reduced to tears at the mere sight of a man turning the pages of a book. The Mirror is not a film – it is cinematic art of the highest order.
