The Man Who Cried

This film may be lesser known, but it is definitely worth the watch! It is a beautiful film all the way through! The film chronicles a girl's search for her father and the path she takes as well as endures. Plus, it caters to men and women in regards to "eye candy." I'm not a huge Christina Ricci fan, though I do admit she's a great actress. The main reasons I wanted to watch the film were Cate Blanchett and Johnny Depp! Johnny Depp is super smoking sexy in this film--but then again, when is he not, right. ;)

Quite a compliment, thank you indeed :) Pacino has directed (to my knowledge) "Chinese Coffee" which was a very enjoyable piece, and "Looking for Richard", an amazing film on the depth of Shakespeare, particularly Richard III. Although I believe now that the "auteurs" tab on the profile page is just a list of all people in cinema, not just limited to directors!

Oh? Where does he live? And thanks, I like your review of the film also. I'm wanting to get into more films by Kubrick and Gus Van Sant. I've seen quite a few now. Just wanted to finish off the rest of their films. Any films you're wanting to see badly?

Mostly, I just went to see this film because Landon Pigg stars in it! He’s playing Ellen Page’s guitar-playing love interest, Oliver.
Also, this is Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut!
