SHOULD THE CRITERION COLLECTION INCLUDE TELEVISION SHOWS? over 2 years ago

interesting question, but after a brief but hard thinking time to myself, I concluded that besides a few mini-series television shows should not be included in it

White Dog-Sam Fuller

i think this had potential, but due to stupid acting and directing, I saw this film as something a middle school student would make for a school project on the evils of racism then a professional director.

About/Links to Your Own Films over 2 years ago

Hey thanks Fredo, I really appreciate it.
Considering I am a 13 year old who has little experience and lack of equipment I haven’t really had the opportunity to make many films of my own. Anyways my older brother is 18 years old and a freshman at the tisch school of the arts at NYU. These are some of his films: http://www.youtube.com/user/ASelinger The movies are in poor quality ao you might want to search around for higher quality versions.

My personal favorite is The Passion of Joan of Arc too.
I love how at imdb.com The Passion of Joan of Arc is unheard of for most but at theauteurs.com it’s almost an overused title like the Godfather.

Tips for the Aspiring Director over 2 years ago

I am 13 year old boy. I understand the mechanics and structure of filmmaking, but I want to know some technique. Sure I have some books to stimulate the creative process, avoid cliches and predictability but I want to see other peoples approaches and opinions on filmmaking and directing specifically. I very much like this article written by Jim Jarmusch on filmmaking: http://www.moviemaker.com/directing/article/jim_jarmusch_2972/
Anyways I’d like to get tips like that. Please post :)

Your right Eli. She is great character who adds greatly to the film but you have to admit, if you met her at a party would you want to talk to her?
