Thanks for supporting my submissions, Antonius! You seem to like Margaret Tait's work, which is always fine by me.
I believe that I've got the lastest edition. It has a Natalie Portman's face from The Black Swan movie on the front page and a face of the alien from Avatar on the side. On the back side there's a shot from Inception. Also when you open it, there's a picture of Antonius Block playing chess with a dead. After the introduction pages, there's a handy list containing every movie in the book with blank squares so you can tick the movies you've already seen. After that the main content of the book begins. The first movie is Le Voyage Dans La Lune from 1902 while the last one is True Grit(I didn't like this movie btw). It ends with another list of films indexed by genre this time, and then a list of the directors and numbers of pages to the movies made by them contained in the book. That's all. The book is very thick. It has almost 1000 pages. I think that it was worth to buy it. You can find everything contained here on the Internet, though.
Just wondering, do you know a book called "1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die"? I own it and I can say that it is a good source for finding new movies. It is also very nice to read about the movie you've just seen. It isn't safe to read about the movie before seeing this, though, because the book contains many spoilers. I bought it for fair price on the auction(normally it costs 99 złotys if iI remember correctly I bought it for 70).
