My favorite Kubrick flick, by a pretty good margin.

Probably the best film of the decade, in my opinion. Have watched it at least five or six times and still get goosebumps.

I see how people could be turned off by it being to philosophical. For me personally it's still an effective film, not to mention it's one of the beautifully shot films of the 1990s.
