ORANGE DAYS is brilliant, had me in fits of tears here and there. It seems that the meaningful transition from college to adulthood is something the Japanese have perfected in their shows (ORANGE DAYS, HONEY AND CLOVER, MAISON IKKOKU), and it never fails to move me!

Kashyap's latest is in Directors' Fortnight. And he's produced two more that are playing in Cannes, though not in competition, where Vidya Balan is a jury member.

He's surprisingly productive for all the things that he does. Usually Bollywood guys take some years between projects, from the people I usually follow. But he keeps on going.
