I wish more people would make more of such tragicomic, weird and warm and special films like this one. See it if you get the chance, simply because you will probably never get the opportunity to see anything like it again.
The trailer does not do justice to this remarkable film. Its beautifully shot and a brutal and authentic story, on one of the tragic wars of West Africa.
One of the creepiest, extraordinary scary, must-see movies for a while; If you ever felt the fear of an animal hunting you down to eat you, then translate that fear into some fellow humans doing that (cannibalism sets in, civilization checks out). Mix that up with a complete void of meaning of your presence on earth, and you start to get closer to the syuzhet of this film. Don’t watch it alone, but do see!

Whoever liked Lars Von Triers' "Antichrist" (and liked it) should watch this. It's not a full rip-off, but rather close I'd say. If you believe in ghosts, this is a scary film!
Since "Lemming" came out in 2005 and Antichrist in 2009, I think the latter is the rip off...
Well thats exactly what I meant. LVT ripped off this. Anyhow, both are good films.
The feeling of being a guilty voyeur pervert somehow catches in on you when watching this film. Thats partly why it is so disturbing. Long time since people walked out on a film (left the cinema) for me. This time several did. This film is however remarkable, high art, and should be watched by all film-lovers with strong nerves.
