The book was kind of a revelation for me 20sth years ago, it felt the closest to my own basic perception of life even though on the surface it looked quite far away with its monumental style of writing and described styles of living. I am a bit apprehensive now: what if the magic gets lost... bur what he does with words and thoughts is amazing anyway.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this book. It's such a good book to talk about, pity is that nobody's read it so I can't talk about it with anybody haha
I love Still Walking. Just discovered Kore Eda last year. Have you seen After Life?
Yes After Life is very good too. I love the warmth of his movies, though they are all so different.
