Béatrice Dalle, you don't have to have eyes to have me.
Johnny Depp is perfect in this film. Absolutely perfect and the movie captures Thompson's work excellently.
Oh, man. Malick had a visual orgasm and I'm so glad we get to see it.
Even when he was just starting Hitch was the best.
At best it's okay.
The scene with the blind passenger in France is fantastic and I love Jarmusch's dialogue. See it, just take my word and see it if you haven't already.
This is just classic Jarmusch.
There are moments in this film that I just really didn't like at all and then there are moments that I love. Robert De Niro at his prime and Scorsese starts to learn his way. Inferior to Rolling Thunder though, way inferior.
The scene in the graveyard is absolutely nerve-wrecking. Also, I think one of the best sequences of the film is Eli Wallach running around the graveyard to Morricone's brilliant The Ecstasy of Gold.
I don't see how anyone can disliek this film. There's some beautiful moments in this film and there's also some hilarious moments. The Coens put so much work into getting their characters to sound of the region in all of their films whether it be Minnesota or Texas.
Crafted by some of the greatest minds in Italian cinema, this IS the greatest spaghetti western ever made. Yes, that means it's better than The Great Silence and all that. Henry Fonda's bad guy could rival Hopper or Day-Lewis any day and Bronson is brilliant as ever. Ennio Morricone's music is at it's most haunting and if you haven't seen this yet, what the hell is wrong with you?
This was so stunningly beautiful. It took so much out of me to watch it and yet the reward was worth it. This is my first experience with Garrel and I am looking forward to many, many more.
