I'd say stop wathever you're doing and go watch it now! Really a rare masterpiece! The grace of Ophüls meets the complexity of Bunuel in one of the tightest and most structured script in a long time. The tracking shot are amazingly beautiful and the directing is marvelous. I'm still trying to digest it...
I agree with you about We Need to Talk About Kevin, though you rated it much more highly than I did. I liked the structure and all of the technical aspects, but some of the story elements irked me and I'm not familiar with the novel so I'm not sure if thats Ramsay's fault or not. I'm really glad you liked Pusher, I'm seeing the second one tonight which you speak highly of in the shoutbox so I'm excited.
