I’d like to see That Most Important Thing: Love, Our Hitler: A Film from Germany, The Inner Scar, The Hart of London, the extended cut of Eros + Massacre, and The Deserter and the Nomads on here.
Excellent suggestions, Juan. I’d be a very happy man if I could watch Colossal Youth on here. I’ve had a hard time finding a copy with English subs. Another suggestion I’d make is for the films of Alexander Kluge. I feel like Kluge has been ignored for the likes of Herzog and Wenders and deserves some attention. His strange unique editing style is one of the most bewildering and yet most effective I’ve ever seen. Truly one of cinema’s greatest auteurs.
I’d recommend checking out some of the films of Koji Wakamatsu. Go Go Second Time Virgin should fulfill your desire for girl violence. If you’re still wanting more, check out the Female Prisoner #701 series starting with Female Prisoner #701: Scorpion. Not only do they contain plenty of girl violence but they are also women-in-prison flicks.
To me, there’s no such thing as a “good bad film”. I either like a movie or I don’t. For example, I find Mattei’s Cruel Jaws to be a great movie because I believe the hammy acting, stolen script ideas (not to mention footage), and strange editing add to its charm.
While I’ve always found Kubrick to be a very impressive technical director, his films have always hit me as cold and sterile. Kubrick seemed to have a rather contemptuous take on humanity that led to a detached sensibility throughout his films. He never really seemed to care about any of his characters which is probably important when you’re making largely character-driven films. Even his technical innovations seem to be pretty unremarkable now that they’ve been copied by every mainstream director (besides the high-speed lens he used to capture the candle-light in Barry Lyndon).

You think Little Joe is the villain, Juan? He rapes that little girl for her own protection AND kills Dracula.

I’m dying to see Mister Lonely. If that’s the only new movie I see all year, I’d be okay.

I’d recommend Kurt Kren’s Action Films. Miike’s films aren’t that bad.

Acting: Why should we care about it? over 2 years ago
The acting is “the be all and end all” for the success of every Bresson film. Why all the chalk lines if it wasn’t?
