It took me awhile to figure out how I feel about Tiny Furniture, but as grating as some of the film is I found it to be relatable and a good depiction of a young person not knowing what to do with herself. It reminds me, and probably many others who watched the film, of how I currently feel, but I see why many dislike the film (unlikable lead, abrasive humor, etc). Also, I like the way Tiny Furniture is shot and if I didn't know better I would never have guessed that it was filmed by a first time director.
