Marvelous poems posted on the Biography of Tarkovsky thread you started today, Luis A. gave me a heads up. Embarrassingly, I have yet to see a film by Tarkovsky, but I enjoyed reading his father's poems. I've a lot to still learn about the history of film, Luis told me you know quite a bit, so here I am now following you!

My Russian is almost entirely film titles- even that at least helped make a connection when meeting a Russian woman with hardly any English not long back. She was surprised when i mimed Zerkalo and pointed to Zemlya etc
