If I buy an e-book over a hard back over a paper back the words always remain the same. Equally, it is the fabric of a film that counts. I concede that there are some films that need to be appreciated in higher quality because of the spectacle they display, however that is just one aspect of it’s fabric and in the end it is the story that counts the most.
Blu-ray Vs DVD Vs LaserDisc, to be honest it doesn’t really matter as long as you get what you want out of it and don’t forget the films as I’m sure the next format will be right around the corner along with hoverboards and orgasmatrons.
I have to agree with anyone who said Tim Burton, he is a meat grinder for such good material, turning everything he touches into a sticky stinking bile extracted from a unimatinative mind.
I posted on the name change previously, commenting on how it has lost the essence that drew me to it in the first place. Name change aside, I would like to add that the new name with the old dotted logo is unbalance, those letter in that typeface don’t work particularly well in uppercase. The old name and logo was balance, the new one is unbalanced as the dotted logo worked better on the left.
Personally I would ask the designers to work harder, I wouldn’t accept this.
blu-ray is kinda bullshit over 2 years ago

The logo for MUBI always reminds me of the one for Ning http://www.ning.com/ in fact the name has similarities, I wonder if that was the inspiration.
