I thought it was a good adaptation, though i feel jack black was a little misplaced in the film. although in no way does it hold a candle to the original.
I decided to get into Kurosawa not too long ago, with Ran being given to me by a friend before i moved away from my home town. He also gave me Le Samurai, which i highly recommend.
Ray Squirrel has the best story ever. Crack the Sky was an awesome album, and i agree season three of ATHF is the best season.
you can always get the Wes Anderson flicks: Rushmore, The Life Aquatic, Royal Tenenbaums and Bottle Rocket. They don’t end in tragedy or confusion, like most of the criterion films.
