Thank God for Monty Python. I haven't had a good laugh in a while.
It's presented like a documentary but I wouldn't classify it as such. It's astounding nonetheless.
One of the best films I've ever seen.
Definitely a classic and important film. Not just about raggae music at the height of its popularity in the 70's which came to fruition in the poverty stricken areas of Kingston but also the Rastafarian movement gaining momentum in Jamaica. It's a story of a young man who was in the midst of it all and made poor decisions because of his desire for fame and fortune which got the best of him.
Modern Times!
Scarlett's Johansson's character Rebecca gets lost in the middle of the plot and it becomes more of Thora Birch's character Enid and her relationship with Steve Buschemi's character Seymour. I wanted more Scarlett.
Jack Kerouac's On The Road…please make it happen :)
I never read the synopsis and I was only familiar with Gondry's work so I didn't know what I was getting in to… and "holy shit" is all I can say. Two thumbs UP!
What the fuck just happened?!
"Looks like we're shy one horse." "You brought two too many." I love westerns! And how about those crane shots?!!! Brilliant!
I want a sailboat!
This is great! It's laughable but great! Osman was dope! haha
Kick back and burn one down. Richard Linklater + rotoscoping = Surreal! Genius work! Slacker should be done in rotoscope.
Mike Tyson is the greatest Heavyweight fighter of all time and his toughest opponent was himself. I highly recommend this film. You can't help but feel sympathetic for the guy. He is eloquent in articulating his emotions. Mike Tyson is a poet of a different realm.
I recommend watching No Direction Home before I'm Not There. But either way, this film is great!
Marion Cotillard was brilliant!
Highly entertaining. Watching this is more addicting than coffee and cigarettes.
