just ew
corny pretty shitty
where can i get this
Casting was great, score was terrible. Soderbergh successfully captured an image of small-town middle America, injecting in it equal parts voyeurism and tenderness which made for what was, in my opinion, a great film. Unfortunately the score seemed alien to the world Soderbergh created, and was a distraction where it could have added more depth and humility.
at times incredible and at times completely retarded. the romantic element was really annoying. i would have liked 1it 9348x more if it weren’t trying to be anything more than drugtalk kitsch.
ayo SPO!
pleasantly surprised
Great movie great soundtrack
Haunting, gritty, and beyond realistic...Maria Full of Grace still has me on the edge of my seat.
Mind blowing. Incredible.
Where can I get this ??? Its not available in the US
Wendy and Lucy is a slice of a life that is sad, dreary and still. Michelle Williams is brilliant and the film is overall very relatable.
Way too corny, way too American, does no justice to the book. However the "other-world" sequences were great.
So good
This is an incredible film and deserves more than 3.5 stars. Solondz experiments with the linear protagonist in a way that is endearing, thought-provoking, accessible. Watch Welcome To the Dollhouse first.
Truly incredible. Without a doubt one of my favorite films of all time, Harold and Maude turned me on to film.
Somewhat disappointing, but I didn't finish it. Typical lesbian coming-of-age grit. Predictable.
Happiness is incredible. Palindromes and Dollhouse are also great. Solondz really captures something basal and presents subjects without judgment, presenting them in a 'slice of life' context that is consistently engaging. Recurring themes consistent of suburbia's disturbing undertone, and the gritty portrayal of adolescent sexuality.
Made me wish I was alive in the early '80s
Visually arresting--and the fashion is to die for
