To Kill a Mockingbird, amazing novel by Harper Lee, the film directed by Robert Mulligan is just brilliant!
Being There, novel by Jerzy Kosinski directed by Hal Ashby
The 39 Steps, novel by John Buchan, directed by Alfred Hitchcock
I just finished reading: Sellevision & A Wolf at the Table by Augusten Burroughs. All time favorite writers are Herman Hesse, Anais Nin, Georges Bataille, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabel Allende, Umberto Eco, Philip Dick, Vladimir Nabokov, Carlos Castaneda, Mario Vargas Llosa, Milan Kundera
Is it me or have other people had the same experience? I enjoy watching the free films here, I think they are great and I know it is only going to get better, but once you are comfortable watching your film the movie just crashes, stops playing.
Thanks for your reply. When it first happened I checked my computer and network connections and everything else (believe me I know how to trouble shoot!)
Yesterday, I was watching Don’t Forget You Are Going To Die. I am in Berlin, Germany ( I was thinking this may be the problem?)
Sin Sosten played perfect, will try watching Terrorist tomorrow and will let you know! I’ve had to stop and restart The Kids Return, Someone Else’s Happiness, Foreign Land among others. I am using a mac Powerbook and I’ve never had any problems w/ my net connection. Thank you so much for your help!
Dubbing just kills a film no matter what, I don’t understand why people find it so hard to read subtitles…. I live in Germany, is all about the dubbing, they ruin everything….
