Researcher/writer/photographer/blogger. Like probably many here don’t exactly feel like I fit in those exact categories but auteur does come the closest. I’ve gone through periods of being very art film oriented and now would call it not quite that but more driven towards films that either twist the genre slightly or simply that come across as coming from a grown up rather than a juvenile sensibility. Other than that, for now anyway, it will take me forever to get these lists happening (at least by scrolling through the pages since I have not been the sort to keep track).
